At Good Shepherd Compassion Ministries, we are faithfully serving the Lord alongside 250 pastors and 60 evangelists who are ministering in some of the most remote and underserved tribal regions of India. Every day, we gather together through Google Meet for united prayer for our nation and for the work of evangelism. On Wednesdays, we meet on Zoom to encourage, strengthen, and equip one another as we labour together for the expansion of God’s Kingdom.
The tribal regions where our pastors serve are marked by deep poverty and struggle. Villagers often survive by cultivating small crops of vegetables on the mountains and trade them for rice—the staple of South India. In this struggle, there’s little left to support their pastors.
These faithful men of God walk miles—on foot or by bicycle—to preach Christ, plant churches, and care for the forgotten, despite steep terrain and hardship.
In India, if a pastor takes a secular job, it is culturally seen as a lack of commitment. While Hindu priests are supported, Christian pastors are also expected to live by offerings—leaving them in extreme need. Many eat once a day, own only two outfits, and struggle to send their kids to school.
God has called us not only to send but also to *stand with* pastors. Through this project, families can partner directly with a tribal pastor's family.
Pastors in Araku, Paderu, Addathegala, Y. Ramavaram, Jangareddi Gudem, Maredumilli, and Mothigudem are bringing the gospel to unreached corners of India. Despite harsh conditions, they carry unshakable faith.
We invite you to **prayerfully consider standing with one of these pastors.** Your support brings hope, dignity, and transformation to entire communities.
